• At Bear Lake Tavern, affectionately referred to as the "BLT", we believe in serving the finest, freshest ingredients possible. That's why all of our Yellowbelly Lake Perch, caught in Michigan's Great Lakes, is hand breaded and made fresh to order.

• Every order of our Jumbo Onion Rings is hand-cut, battered and made fresh to order. And to ensure the highest quality and best health benefits possible, we use zero trans fat, cholesterol-free shortening.

• Our gourmet coffee is roasted locally in Spring Lake, MI at Magnum Coffee.

• Our ground beef is made with select cuts of choice beef and is purchased locally from The Meat Block, as well as our USDA Choice Beef Steaks.

• The fish used in our homemade Whitefish Paté is purchased from Walter's Fishery in Ludington, MI.

• All of our daily soups and our signature New England Clam Chowder are made fresh, in-house daily from our original recipes.
